| Animal ornaments are easy to match with new owners. Many ornament collectors have preferences as to what type of animal they would like carved. Other collectors simply enjoy finding any variety of animal ornament, as long as it is cleverly done. | As with all of her ornaments, the animal carvings are made to look as if the animal is actually dangling from the gold colored cording. |
| A cat, crocodile, elephant, squirrel, monkey or pig can be carved to look as if it is hanging by its tail. The elephant can also hang by its trunk. | Beavers or again, the crocodile, can be hanging on by their teeth. Many animals, like a whistling marmot or rabbit can be hanging on by their little paws. |
| The cat ornament is probably the most versatile animal ornament idea to work with. Cats can be fat, skinny, young or old, and people will see something in that cat to remind them of one of their own real cats. Cats appear to have no bones and do not limit how they are positioned. Coffman often purposely squeezes the cat pencil sketches she draws on the wood into odd angles in order to force new positions in which the cats will hang. | Keep checking back to look at the photos.
